iPhone owners in the US have had eSIM access since the release of the iPhone XS and XS Max in 2018. And since the iPhone 14 in 2022, it has been an eSIM-only affair. That means all iPhones released in the country since then have had no slots for a physical SIM card.
In other markets and regions, most iPhones sold still have a physical SIM card slot alongside eSIM support, so buyers can use eSIM if their carrier or mobile operator supports it.
In this video, I provide instructions about how to add or activate eSIM in iPhone. It is quite straightforward. Enjoy!
